Legoland

An ideal place for your kids, it is themed after the Lego toys. There are many life sized creatures right from dinosaurs to blocks. The San Diego Safari Zoo offers a unique safari like experience. You will never feel like you are in a Zoo because of the open spaces and the close proximity of the animals. Most museums in Seattle charge a fee but it’s free on first Thursday of each month so make sure you time your visit to coincide with the free days. There are many museums which you can check out in Seattle such as the Museum of Flight, Art Museum etc.

Two places worth visiting are the Pike Place market and the Ballard Farmer’s market. The place becomes very crowded after noon so time your visit appropriately. It is one of the best known shopping centres in Seattle and you can find fresh fish, flowers and it is also the best place for grabbing a quick meal.

Also known as the Ohe’o Gulch Pool, the spot is a very popular attraction primarily because of the many pools and waterfalls that decorate the land. It is always best to reach a bit early as the place is often crowded.

Makena State Park

This majestic state park encompasses a total of 165 acres and also plays host to two of the most popular beaches, the Big beach and Little beach. You can sunbath here or decide to surf. There are a lot of parties and bonfires which feature a lot of dancing and therefore, ensure that you book a place early and enjoy the evergreen festive season here.
