There are many tiny rocky pools and bays where you can simply relax and view the Penguins. If you have a little time with you, it is always a good idea to extend your tour to include the Foxy Beach. There are a host of restaurants in the Boulders beach area even though the actual place inside the reserve doesn’t have any accommodation. Bertha’s restaurant is a nice place to visit and is not very far from Boulders Beach. You can get a taste of some South African delicacies here and also indulge in some quality seafood.

But if you are looking to spend a few days here then you can stay in the many resorts that have sprung near the main entrance. There are also many guided tours which will explain the breeding habits of Penguins and if you are lucky, you might also get a chance to swim with these birds. However, it’s best not to venture too close to the Penguins on your own as they can leave nasty scars.
