Kubota Garden is an often ignored but an amazing tourist spot. It has been converted into a city park and this great 20 acre region is the perfect blend of Japanese design and western plants. There is a lot of thematic plant life on display and you can enjoy the park while taking a stroll or simple relax on the garden. Most museums in Seattle charge a fee but it’s free on first Thursday of each month so make sure you time your visit to coincide with the free days. There are many museums which you can check out in Seattle such as the Museum of Flight, Art Museum etc.
Two places worth visiting are the Pike Place market and the Ballard Farmer’s market. The place becomes very crowded after noon so time your visit appropriately. There are many performers who represent many cultural groups and you can also get a taste of the city’s culture by blending yourself in the crowd.
